How to get to Duende from Tarapoto

From Tarapoto to Chazuta

*From Tarapoto you need to go to: 'Paradero de Chazuta' (4/5 soles in mototaxi).
*It’s the bus stop where you can take the collective autos to Chazuta (from 6am to 6pm), most mototaxi's drivers know it.
*In case the name of the bus stop is ‘Los Vaquerinos’ and the address Jr. Jose Olaya 1405.
*Once the auto leaves the trip is 1 hour and cost 10 soles per person.
*Tell the driver to drop you off 'Plaza de Armas de Chazuta', it's closer to the center.

From Chazuta (Plaza de Armas) to Duende

*It's 15/20mn walking with the big football field as a reference point.
*You can come by mototaxi giving the second bridge ('Puente Mojarasyacu' on the map) as a
reference point to the driver (4/5 soles or more depending on the weather, the time, the
weight).
*If there are things you want to leave in the village we have a small storage room at the
entrance as indicated on the map (casa de Doña Julia), we can bring them for you on the next
day if needed or they can stay there until the end of your stay.
